CTOnews.com December 30 news, third-party file copying tool TeraCopy recently launched version 3.9.7 update. The latest version is available as a free and commercial version. The free version already has most of the features, while the commercial version also has the ability to edit file lists, manage and export favorite folders.

TeraCopy can now run PowerShell scripts after the transfer is complete. The application comes with two PowerShell scripts that can be run after the transfer is complete. The first is eject drive and the second is enable notification via IFTTT.

CTOnews.com understands that TeraCopy added initial support for PowerShell in version 3.2.7, released in 2017, and further improved integration in the latest version. Users can place custom scripts in a specified folder (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\TeraCopy\Scripts).

TeraCopy 3.9.7 includes three additional features. You can now activate the keyboard shortcut Ctrl-Home to jump to the current file being processed by the app. The program will also automatically detect the hash value in the clipboard to display it during validation.

CTOnews.com learned that TeraCopy is a free file transfer utility designed to replace the built-in Windows Explorer file transfer feature. It focuses on data integrity, file transfer reliability, and the ability to pause or resume file transfers.
