CTOnews.com, December 29, according to the website of the State-owned assets Supervision and Administration Commission, on December 20, at the construction site of the Julongliang Wind Power Project (Phase I) in Yunnan, a 6.7MW plateau mountain fan with the largest unit capacity in the country was successfully hoisted, and its impeller diameter reached 191m, successfully setting a new world record for plateau mountain fan construction.

The Julongliang Wind Power Project (Phase I) is located in Xundian County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, with a total dynamic investment of about 480 million yuan and a total installed capacity of 100MW, mainly for 13 wind turbines with 6.7MW and 2 6.45MW wind turbines, 15 box transformers and 35kV collector lines and booster stations.

CTOnews.com learned that the first hoisting No. 1 fan has a capacity of 6.7MW, a hub height of 115m, equivalent to a height of more than 30 stories, a blade length of 93m, a cabin weight of 138t and an impeller diameter of 191m. It is currently a plateau and mountain fan with the largest unit capacity, the highest tower height and the longest impeller diameter in China.

Data show that after the completion of the Julongliang wind power project, its annual power generation will reach 295.5 million kilowatt-hours, with an average annual power generation income of 76.95 million yuan, which is expected to save 91100 tons of standard coal, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 245900 tons, and reduce sulfur dioxide emissions by 47.28 tons.
