CTOnews.com December 29, developer Javier Jard ó n announced the second maintenance update of the GNOME 43 desktop environment via GNOME Discourse. This maintenance update improves a number of components, including window adjustments, window screenshots, screencast UI, and so on.

The new version improves support for Mali GPU and Intel's new i915 drivers, further enhances support for Wayland, fixes Wayland keyboard problems, and so on.

This update also fixes a number of BUG for GNOME Shell and Mutter, including duplicate entries in the volume device menu, missing name in the Wired Network Quick setup button, switching input sources, default keyboard layout for initial setup, unresponsive screen area when opening Quick setup, tracking newly installed applications, displaying passwords as on-screen keyboard recommendations, etc.

GNOME 43.2 also improved Bluetooth support, updated gnome-bluetooth applications, and fixed a wired problem with some Bluetooth classic keyboard pairing dialogs, that is, the password box disappears after entering the first number.

CTOnews.com learned that after the official release of GNOME 43.2, it will log on to the stable software libraries of various GNU / Linux distributions early next January. GNOME 43.3 is expected to be released in January next year.
