The use of blockchain technology to achieve the verification of electronic service documents to ensure the authority of judicial documents is one of the important scenarios in the judicial application of blockchain. After deliberation and approval by the standing Committee of the National people's Congress, starting from January 1, 2022, subject to the consent of the server, the people's court may serve litigation documents, including judgments, written orders and conciliation statements, by electronic means that can confirm their receipt. In some opinions on further strengthening Civil Service, the Supreme people's Court clearly put forward that on the premise of strictly abiding by the applicable conditions of electronic service in the judicial interpretation of civil procedure law and civil procedure law, actively explore the effective ways and methods of electronic service and the preservation of service vouchers.

In order to better ensure the authenticity and credibility of electronic service documents, relying on the unified judicial block chain platform, from now on, every electronic document served by the Supreme people's Court will be served at the same time as the judicial block chain. Support parties and social third-party institutions to conduct online verification of receiving electronic service documents through the "judicial chain data verification" function of the Internet judicial chain platform (https://sfl.court.gov.cn).
