During his tenure as technical director of various launch vehicles, in order to ensure the successful launch of "one rocket and three satellites," he solved the key technology of longitudinal coupling vibration of launch vehicles. In the development of launch vehicles Long March 4 and Long March 2D, he adopted optimization design principles, digital control system, flexible inertial platform and other new technologies for the overall scheme of launch vehicles, and made contributions to the overall performance of launch vehicles reaching the advanced level of similar foreign products.
