On December 28, CTOnews.com, Tesla officially announced that on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of Tesla in Chongqing, the 40th supercharging station in Chongqing has been officially launched, with a new [Xinguangtiandi supercharging station], located in the Jiazhou Road business district.

According to Tesla, the V3 super charging pile currently has a peak charging power of up to 250kW. Under the peak power, 15 minutes can add up to 250km of mileage for the vehicle, and the peak charging speed will vary from model to model.

CTOnews.com learned that Tesla's 10000 supercharging pile in Chinese mainland has been completed and is located at the Shanghai Oriental Pearl supercharging station.

In November this year, Tesla built 30 new super charging stations, 125 super charging piles, 7 destination charging stations and 24 destination charging piles in Chinese mainland, which has been launched in 25 cities (counties) across the country.

Public data show that Tesla's supercharging network covers 100% of all provincial capitals and municipalities of Chinese mainland, and has achieved full coverage of prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hebei, Shandong, Guangdong, Guizhou, Shanxi and Henan.

As of November, Tesla had built and opened more than 1400 super charging stations, more than 9700 super charging piles, more than 700 destination charging stations and more than 1900 destination charging piles on Chinese mainland. In addition, recently, foreign media reported that Tesla will allow third-party charging piles to access its navigation system.
