At present, Chongqing expressway digital RMB payment supporting banks are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Co., Ltd. Chongqing Liangjiao Branch and Agricultural Bank of China Co., Ltd. Chongqing Yubei Branch. In the later stage, other banks will gradually open the digital RMB payment function.

CTOnews.com learned that the specific operation of the car side to use the digital RMB payment function is as follows:

① download the digital RMB App and make sure there is a sufficient balance in the wallet

When paying the toll in the exit lane of the ② toll station, show the payment QR code of your wallet (as long as you open the digital RMB App, slide up and quickly display the payment code)

After the payment is completed by ③, the toll electronic invoice can be issued by self-help in the official account of Chongqing Expressway ETC.

In the next step, Chongqing Expressway will study the scheme of using digital RMB in ETC business, service area consumption, refueling, ETC + car life scenarios, and further expand the wide application of digital RMB in highway business scenarios.

CTOnews.com learned that digital RMB (pilot version) App is the official service platform for individual users of digital RMB, China's legal currency, providing the opening and management of digital RMB personal wallets, as well as the exchange and circulation of digital RMB. Digital RMB carries out R & D pilot projects in pilot areas and pilot scenarios, and pilot customers can register for Digital RMB App.

The scope of the digital RMB App pilot project has been expanded again. On the one hand, it has been expanded from Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xiongan New area and Chengdu to Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei and Sichuan provinces; on the other hand, Jinan in Shandong, Nanning and Fangchenggang in Guangxi, Kunming and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan have been added as pilot areas. So far, a total of 17 provincial administrative regions or some cities across the country have carried out digital RMB pilot projects.
