CTOnews.com learned that the new TCL base in Pingyang, Vietnam broke ground in February 2019 and went into production in September 2019, with the first product being a 49-inch TV.

According to officials, the new TCL base in Pingyang, Vietnam, will increase its monthly production from 53000 in January to 120000 in February in 2020. The monthly output reached an all-time high in September and October, exceeding 436000 units in October. In 2020, the Vietnam base produced 3.78 million units in the whole year.

In March 2022, the introduction of a new 75-inch large screen product line further increased the production capacity of the TCL Vietnam base. In June, it met the big order of "Black five" in North America and shipped 440000 units of 55-inch and 65-inch products in North America in a short period of time.
