CTOnews.com, December 27 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- according to Nvidia, the NVIDIA RTX Enterprise Release 525 (R525) is now available to support GPU-RTX 6000 Ada architecture, NVIDIA's most powerful workstation.
According to reports, compared with the previous generation of R515 drivers, the performance of R525 drivers has been improved. For example, this version can improve efficiency by 9% in applications such as Adobe Media Encoder, Keyshot Viewer, and SOLIDWORKS Visualize.
R525 extends the functionality of NVIDIA Mosaic. Mosaic is an advanced cross-screen multi-display technology. The driver enhances support for hybrid displays running on custom synthesizers and standard Windows system synthesizers, such as some dedicated displays.
In addition, developers can use new Vulkan extensions that support access to a variety of new features of the Ada Lovelace architecture. For example, developers can use Optical Flow Accelerator to generate a deep learning framework based on Vulkan. The Windows R525 driver includes NVIDIA RTX Desktop Manager that enables users to easily manage single-or multi-monitor workspaces to maximize the flexibility and control of display space and desktops.
According to reports, the new RTX 6000 is based on 18176 AD102 GPU,CUDA cores, 11% more than RTX 4090, 48GB video memory, twice the RTX 4090, and 300W power consumption. The Boost frequency of RTX 6000 is 2.5 GHz, which is the same as that of RTX 4090, and the GDDR6 memory speed is 20 Gbps.
CTOnews.com learned that in September this year, Nvidia released the RTX 6000 workstation GPU based on the new Ada Lovelace architecture, with the following technical features:
Third-generation RT Core: twice the throughput of the previous generation and the ability to run ray tracing technology with shading or denoising capabilities at the same time.
Fourth-generation Tensor Core: nearly 2 times higher than the previous generation of AI training performance, extended support for FP8 data format.
CUDA core: the single-precision floating-point throughput is up to twice that of the previous generation.
GPU memory: with 48GB GDDR6 memory, it can handle large-scale 3D models, image rendering, simulation, and AI data sets.
Virtualization: NVIDIA Virtual GPU (vGPU) software for multiple high-performance virtual workstation instances will be supported, enabling remote users to share resources and drive high-end design, AI, and computing workloads.
XR (extended reality): video coding performance is nearly 3 times higher than that of the previous generation, and multiple XR sessions can be synchronized using NVIDIA CloudXR streaming.
