CTOnews.com, December 27 (Xinhua) according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the long March 4B carrier rocket blasted off from the Taiyuan Satellite launch Center at 15:37 today, and then put Gaofen No. 11 04 into orbit. The launch mission was a complete success.

CTOnews.com learned that this launch is the 457th launch of the long March series of carrier rockets, and it is also the fourth time that the Chang 4B rocket has joined hands with the Gaofen 11 satellite. Prior to this, the rocket successfully put Gaofen 01, 02 and 03 into orbit in 2018, 2020 and 2021 respectively.

China Aerospace Science and Technology Group said that Gaofen 11 04 Star was developed by the Fifth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. it can contribute to national economic and social development in the fields of land census, urban planning, land ownership determination, road network design, crop yield estimation and disaster prevention and reduction.

The long March 4B carrier rocket is a normal temperature liquid three-stage carrier rocket developed by the eighth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. This is the final battle of the long four series of rockets this year, and the model has launched 11 missions in the whole year.
