CTOnews.com December 27 news, IDC released a report today that shipments of PC monitors in China are expected to decline 1.6% year on year in 2023 and will bottom out in 2024.

The report expects the proportion of high-score and high-brush products to continue to grow. With the decline of panel prices, the cost of the whole machine has been reduced, and the price of displays with high resolution and high refresh rate has continued to decline; consumers have more abundant use scenes of the display, and have higher requirements for the picture quality and refresh rate of the display. this has led to a continuous increase in the share of high-score and high-brush displays.

CTOnews.com learned that IDC said that the intensification of market competition led to the downward movement of the mainstream price segment of the overall display, but the consumer display market of more than 1,000 yuan was limited. The mainstream price segment of the consumer display market is expected to jump to 1000-1499 yuan in 2023, an increase of 13.0% over the same period last year.

Nowadays, the Type-C interface has become a configuration concerned by many users, and some displays can realize the functions of screen casting, data transmission, power supply and so on through the Type-C interface. IDC estimates that shipments of monitors with Type-C interfaces in China will account for 5% of the overall market in 2023. At the same time, the display is also gradually developing in the direction of intelligence, wireless screen, Smart Internet and so on make office entertainment more convenient.
