CTOnews.com December 27, MSI recently announced the release of SPATIUM M461, M452 and M453 Gen4 PCIe NVMe solid state drives, all in M.2 2280 specification, which can be easily installed on compatible desktop motherboards and laptops.

SPATIUM M461

SPATIUM M461 was developed to meet the expectations of mainstream SSD consumers. The SSD has a maximum continuous read speed of 5000MB/s and a maximum continuous write speed of 4200MB/s. These SSD adopt PCIe Gen4 interface and provide 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB capacity. 4K random throughput is to read 680000IOPS, write 880000IOPS, the product provides 5-year limited warranty service, the design durability (write) capacity from small to large is 110TBW, 250TBW, 450TBW, 900TBW.

M452 and M453

M452 and M453 are entry-level products with PCIe Gen4. These two hard drives still offer the basic advantages of fast file transfer and short-time loading. The SPATIUM M452 provides continuous read speeds of up to 3550 MB/s and continuous write speeds of 2700 MB/s. The highest sequential access of Spatium M452 is read 3550MB/s and write 2700MB. The random throughput of 4K is read 340000IOPS and write 550000IOPS, respectively. The durability (write) order is 280TBW, 560TBW, 1120TBW.

SPATIUM 453s have read / write speeds of up to 3600 MB/s and 2800 MB/s, allowing users to enjoy fast file transfers and short load times. The available storage capacity for both models is 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB. Sequential access to the highest read 3600MB/s, write 2800MB Universe 4K random output score is read 500000IOPS, write 600000IOPS. Including the design durability (writing) is also slightly better, in the order of 300TBW, 600TBW, 1200TBW, but also includes 5-year limited warranty service.

All announced SPATIUM SSD products support comprehensive data correction capabilities, including LPDC ECC and E2E data protection, and provide high TBW (Terabytes Written) for excellent durability and life. These products have a limited warranty of five years.
