CTOnews.com, December 27 (Xinhua)-- Samsung recently announced that it has raised a total of $10 million (about 69.7 million yuan) through its Samsung Global Goals app. Global Goals is an initiative launched in 2015 in response to the call of the United Nations. It has been supported by 193 countries and regions around the world to address 17 global problems, including poverty, health care, education, gender equality and climate change by 2030.

To help achieve its vision of global goals, Samsung partnered with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and launched the Samsung Global Goals app for Android in 2019, through which you can contribute to any of the 17 causes that the Global goals Plan aims to address. You only need to donate US $1 to support any global goal using in-app payment.
