Sony PlayStation officially issued a special article to remind players that the front of the CD should be inserted in the direction of the machine button (left).

CTOnews.com learned that if the game disc was accidentally stuck in the machine, officials also provided a detailed solution and the tools needed.

Before you begin how to remove a stuck disc from the PS5 host, you need to:

A brightly lit room and a console.

A No. 1 Phillips screwdriver or Phillips screwdriver.

A small flashlight (optional).

Note: do not turn on the computer or use the mainframe to play games after the lid is removed.

1. Press the power key for 3 seconds to shut down the PS5 host, and then remove the cables and devices from the host.

2. Place the mainframe on a soft cloth with a flat surface, and then remove the base.

3. Place the mainframe so that the screw hole of the base is facing you, the PS logo is facing down, and the optical disc slot is located on your left.

4. Place the palm near the upper corner and grasp the edge of the lid. Gently pull the lid up in your own direction. You will hear the click and the lid is lifted.

5. After taking off the lid, look for the black ring on the CD drive, including a circle of black plastic film. You can remove the film or push it onto the covered screw. (newer hosts may not have this plastic cover. )

6. Use a No. 1 Phillips screwdriver or Phillips screwdriver and turn the screw clockwise until you can almost see the entire disc.

7. Gently remove the disc. Do not forcibly pull the disc from the CD drive.

8. Place the lid a little further away from the upper edge (about 2 cm or 3 stroke 4 inches) and slide it back into place.

9. When the lid is fixed, you will hear a click.

10. Reconnect each cable, and then turn on the host computer.
