Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen Coje_He for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, December 25, Mozilla said they recently fixed a Bug for Firefox that was first reported 18 years ago.

Error 290125 was first reported on April 12, 2005, a few days before Firefox 1.0.3 was released, focusing on how Firefox uses:: first-letter CSS pseudo elements to render text.

Initially, this issue caused Firefox to handle row heights differently on Mac than Firefox on other platforms, which was fixed in time in Firefox 3.0 in 2007, but reappeared in 2014, when the CSS working group pointed out that Firefox's special treatment of row heights did not comply with the CSS specification and led to compatibility issues.

However, this problem has not been taken seriously and has always been marked as a low priority, so it has not been fixed until now. CTOnews.com has learned that this issue should have been resolved in the Firefox version 110 and is expected to be released to everyone in February 2023.
