According to reports, this product uses NXP's NXP SN110 aggregation eSIM solution to support the eSIM function in the global market, and users of hundreds of operators around the world can use eSIM function on this product.

The SN110 series is a highly integrated converged eSIM solution that enables advanced functions such as secure mobile traffic, payment and intelligent access control through near field communication (NFC) and embedded security chips, as well as support cellular connectivity for GSMA-certified consumer eSIM. This ultra-small, low-power single-chip solution makes it easier for device manufacturers such as Xiaomi to provide consumers with remote SIM card configuration and wireless updates, as well as multiple mobile network operator (MNO) access services on the same device.

Compared to traditional SIM cards, converged eSIM solutions have a variety of advantages, such as the ability for consumers to use multiple eSIM configurations on the same device, eliminating the need to carry multiple devices or replace SIM cards when traveling internationally. In addition, equipment manufacturers are more likely to scale up in geographic areas that use different service providers.

SN110 provides a high level of security, including Common Criteria EAL6 + certification, GP (Global Platform), and GSMA certification schemes that comply with GSMA CC protection. It has been tested against the world's major mobile network operators (MNO) to help ensure interoperability and provide a smooth user experience for consumers, OEM, and MNO.

CTOnews.com learned that in other configurations, the Xiaomi 12T Pro carries Snapdragon 8 + Gen 1 chip, uses LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, and is pre-installed with MIUI 13 based on Android 12. The 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display supports the HDR10+ and Dolby horizon, with a typical brightness of 500N (with a peak of 900N) and protected by gorilla No. 5 glass. Equipped with a 200-megapixel camera and a Samsung ISOCELL HP1 sensor, it is 1.22 inches and 0.64 μ m pixels, and supports four-in-one and sixteen-in-one photography.
