The folding device comprises a first shell, a second shell, an intermediate shell, a supporting mechanism, a rotating movement mechanism and a limit mechanism. The first shell and the second shell are used for jointly bearing the flexible screen, and the first shell and the second shell are respectively arranged on both sides of the intermediate shell.

A holding cavity for holding the folding part of the flexible screen is arranged in the middle shell, the rotating moving mechanism is installed in the holding cavity, the first shell and the second shell are rotationally connected with the middle shell through the rotating moving mechanism, and the limiting mechanism is installed on the middle shell.

The support mechanism comprises a first support plate and a second support plate, both of which are rotatably mounted on the middle shell, and the first support plate and the first shell are transmitted to each other through a rotating moving mechanism. the second support plate and the second shell drive each other through the rotating moving mechanism.

The folding device of the invention solves the problem that the existing folding device can not provide stable support for the display screen.
