It is clear that by the end of 2025, radio and television stations at all levels in the region will fully complete the transformation from standard definition to high definition, standard definition channels will basically be shut down, and high-definition television will become the basic broadcasting mode of television. First, speed up the construction of the production and broadcasting capacity of high-definition and ultra-high-definition television. by the end of 2023, the radio and television stations of the five cities will fully complete the transformation from standard-definition television to high-definition television; by the end of 2024, county-level radio and television stations will fully complete the transformation from standard-definition television to high-definition television; by the end of 2025, Ningxia Radio and Television Station will basically have the ability to produce and broadcast ultra-high-definition television. Second, the SD television channels will be shut down in an orderly manner, and by the end of 2025, the SD channels of radio and television stations at all levels in the region will basically be closed. Third, vigorously promote the development of high-definition and ultra-high-definition cable television networks. By the end of 2025, the popularity of high-definition ultra-high-definition set-top boxes in cable television networks in the region has increased significantly. Fourth, we will speed up the process of direct broadcast satellite HD and UHD. By the end of 2025, the popularity of live satellite HD UHD set-top boxes will increase significantly. Fifth, we will continue to promote the process of IPTV HD and UHD. By the end of 2025, the signal of IPTV standard definition channels in the region will basically be shut down, and HD UHD set-top boxes will be popularized in an all-round way. Sixth, actively and steadily promote the high definition of terrestrial wireless television.
