Li Hongwu, dean of China Unicom Research Institute, said, "this release is the base station version 1.0, which meets the requirements of R16, followed by the requirements of R17 / R18, and promotes the realization of the whole equipment to reach the international leading level until it is completely self-controlled.

According to reports, this high domestic rate indoor distributed micro base station includes BBU, Hub and pRRU3 parts, and has eight characteristics, such as autonomous controllability of baseband controller and RF chip, high and low frequency fusion networking and independent networking, flexible frame structure and green energy saving scheme, which can meet the deployment requirements of high density and high bandwidth hot scenarios and enable large bandwidth applications such as XR / 4K / 8K. The research and development of the whole machine has led to the localization of baseband, intermediate frequency and radio frequency basic devices.
