1.2. Operating system requirements

Note: dependency packages need to be installed on both server and Aent sides

1.4. Database requirements

If the database is configured with dbcontrol, delete it using the following command:

SYSMAN_PWD: Password for SYSMAN user

SYS_PWD: Password for SYS user

$emca-deconfig dbcontrol db-repos drop-SYS_PWD-SYSMAN_PWD

Delete an EM case:

$emca-deconfig dbcontrol db-repos drop-system-system

Start installing Oracle 12c OEM

2.1. Install Oracle 12c OEM server

Note: make sure that the installation directory space is at least 14G

Mkdir-p / u01/app/oracle/Middleware

Mkdir-p / u01/app/oracle/Agent

Modify the parameters:

The parameters can be modified as appropriate. The GC server consumes a lot of resources, so it is recommended that the parameters are not too small.

Alter system set processes=300 scope=spfile

Alter system set session_cached_cursors=400 scope=spfile

Oracle users enter the decompressed directory and run. / runInstaller

Select "Skip" to skip the update and click NEXT

This process takes 1-3 hours.

Root users execute .sh

Service installation is complete!

View the server-side OEM status:

/ u01/app/oracle/service/oms/bin/emctl status oms

View the server-side agent status:

/ u01/app/oracle/client/agent_inst/bin/emctl status agent
