According to officials, Dapeng VR E4 uses the highest 4K resolution of a single screen in the world, raises the top refresh rate to 120Hz, and completes the world's first 5m high-definition transmission of 4K & 120Hz, 8.3ms can complete a frame rendering, transmission, display and positioning.

Dapeng E4 uses 6DoF visual positioning technology based on Inside-out positioning mode, which is in line with human bionics and portability, and uses four high-definition cameras to achieve comprehensive positioning, without the need to use with the base station.

In addition, E4 adopts industrial grade IMU sensor in selection, cooperates with anti-electromagnetic interference design, self-developed Hawkeye VSLAM 4Cam positioning system, 6DoF head display can achieve accurate positioning in millimeter level in large space of 10m*10m, 6DoF handle also brings wide-angle tracking effect of 240 °, can achieve 0.1s high-speed response identification, mm-level dynamic tracking error, sub-millimeter static tracking and drift error, and the angle error is only ±1 °.

CTOnews.com learned that Dapeng E4 has a field of view angle up to 116 °, and the optical effective diameter of lens is controlled within 50mm, and the corresponding anti-distortion treatment is done through lens selection and calibration, so that there is no need to worry about the image distortion caused by excessive field angle and bring fatigue to the eyes. E4 optical module TV distortion field of view is less than 4%, players can still maintain high visual comfort when worn for a long time.

At the same time, the sweet area of E4 Eyebox has also been extended to 14mm, so that the afterglow is clear, bringing an immersive experience.

It is reported that Big friend VR has reached a cooperation with Steam to create hardware based on the Steam VR game experience. Big friend E4 has been able to play 7000+VR games in the Steam game library, such as "Green Hell", "After The Fall" and so on, and new games are launched every year. Dapeng is working with American Steam officials, such as the famous VR masterpiece "half Life" and so on.

At the same time, Dapeng E4's E4 Big friend Assistant based on Steam VR API can also automatically guide downloading and installation, creating a faster, silky game experience that can be downloaded and played without too much debugging and any extra steps to achieve full compatibility.

In addition, Dapeng also cooperates with a number of VR game manufacturers, and big IP such as "Chinese Paladin" is also under development.

Big friend VR, in cooperation with Nvidia and AMD, did a lot of tests and finally realized adapting all graphics cards on E4. On the general interface, Big friend VR E4 also supports various interfaces such as DP 1.4, minidp, Lightning, HDMI and so on.

Dapeng E4 adopts Shun Yu intelligent optical 6DoF Tracking vision scheme to realize double 6DoF spatial somatosensory positioning of head and hand. The positioning accuracy of handle can reach millimeter level, and fast positioning, stable tracking and rapid feedback can be achieved.
