CTOnews.com, December 22, following the departure of "Dongfeng hydrogen Boat" to the Great Bay area, Dongfeng Company has opened a new demonstration operation project in the Great Bay area: Dongfeng-Huadu fuel cell passenger vehicles, which will join hands to explore the prospect of commercial demonstration operation of fuel cell vehicles.

CTOnews.com has been informed that Dongfeng will develop fuel cell passenger vehicles based on the Dongfeng Nissan Qichen V and start a 36-month demonstration operation in Huadu District of Guangzhou to accelerate the layout of hydrogen energy and fuel cell vehicle industry.

Previously, Dongfeng hydrogen Boat, a full-power fuel cell passenger car developed by Dongfeng Company, has successfully sailed to Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area and carried out demonstration operation in Foshan City, Guangdong Province.

Hydrogen fuel cell vehicle is one of the main technical paths of new energy vehicles. Dongfeng Technology in hydrogen fuel cells, accelerate investment and R & D layout, speed up the mastery of key core technologies. Up to now, Dongfeng Company has 298 invention patents in the field of hydrogen energy, including patent layout materials, core parts and vehicles.

The power of the hydrogen fuel cell system of Dongfeng Company covers 20kW-300kW, which can meet the needs of a full range of passenger and commercial vehicles. It has 10 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles announced to achieve demonstration operation in the north, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, as well as Wuhan, Foshan and other cities.
