CTOnews.com reported on December 22, citing foreign technology media SamMobile, that the Galaxy S23 series, which will be unveiled next year (possibly February 1), will be full of blood version of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips.

CTOnews.com learned that the Galaxy S23 Ultra (model SM-S918B), equipped with an overclocking version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, appeared in the GeekBench run library a few weeks ago, showing that the large core clock rate was 3.36GHz. Now the Galaxy S23 (model SM-S911B) also appears on the GeekBench, showing that the clock rate of the big core is the same as that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Although the final score of the basic model of the Galaxy S23 (1188 for single core and 3099 for multicore) is much lower than that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra (1504 for single core and 4580 for multicore), this may be because the optimization of the system has not been completed, on the other hand, the basic model of Galaxy S23 limits some of its performance in order to control the heating of the equipment. After all, the cooling effect of the smaller size Galaxy S23 is not as good as that of the Ultra model.
