CTOnews.com, December 21, Samsung sells a large number of mid-range smartphones every year. A large portion of its smartphone revenue comes from devices such as the Galaxy A33 5G and the Galaxy A53 5G. However, Samsung may cancel one of its mid-range mobile devices next year.

Samsung may not launch the Galaxy A74 phone in 2023, according to a new GalaxyClub report. Previously, the Samsung Galaxy A145G, Galaxy A24, Galaxy A345G and Galaxy A54 have been leaked. But by the end of the year, no information about Galaxy A74 had been leaked.

If Samsung no longer launches the Galaxy A74, then the Galaxy A54 will become Samsung's most expensive mid-range smartphone. Samsung is expected to simplify its smartphone lineup, which is good for consumers and Samsung's software development team.

It was previously revealed that the Samsung Galaxy A54 will be equipped with a 6.4in Super AMOLED display with a Full HD+, refresh rate of 120Hz and an on-screen fingerprint recognition. It will also be equipped with a 5000-megapixel main camera (which may support OIS) and a 1200-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone is expected to be equipped with OIS optical anti-shake, a 3200-megapixel selfie camera and 4K video recording.

CTOnews.com learned that Samsung will also bring faster Exynos 1380 chips to the Galaxy A54. There are four high-performance CPU cores, while the Exynos 1280 used in the Galaxy A53 5G is two. It is also equipped with a fairly powerful Mali-G68 GPU. The device may also have 5G, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C ports, stereo speakers and IP68 waterproof and dustproof, with built-in 5100mAh batteries.
