CTOnews.com, December 21 (Xinhua)-- Global smartphone shipments (sales) and sales (sales) fell 20% and 18% year-on-year in November 2022, respectively, according to a study of Strategy Analytics Wireless smartphone Strategy (WSS) services.

CTOnews.com learned that the weak performance was due to inflation and currency exchange rate volatility, weak industry inventories, manufacturing disruptions caused by outbreaks, persistent geopolitical tensions, and weakening demand in several markets.

In terms of smartphone brands, Samsung led the global market in shipments and sales in November 2022, followed by Apple in shipments and sales. Xiaomi remains in third place in terms of shipments and sales. Other companies on the list include OPPO (including one plus), vivo, Transporter, Glory, realme, Lenovo-Motorola and Huawei.
