The report points out that as Korean panel manufacturers withdraw from the LCD panel market one after another, the operating pressure of the high-generation line decreases after the price of large-size panels stabilizes, and the willingness to use mobile phone products to seize the market at low prices to fill production capacity will be significantly weakened, but mobile phone panel prices will still be under pressure in the short term.

Among them, the price of LCD mobile phone panel entered the downward cycle in July 2021, and the price continued to be in the downward channel throughout 2022 and expanded in the fourth quarter. The cumulative decline of a-Si panel in 2022 was 13.3% and the cumulative decline of a-Si panel was 9.7%. The a-Si production capacity of panel manufacturers continued to shift to products such as IT / industrial control / vehicle, and LTPS mainstream panel manufacturers continued to increase shipments in the white card market.

The demand growth rate of AMOLED mobile phone panel slows down, the stock level is high, and the market supply continues to exceed demand, especially the flexible AMOLED panel, the price competition is fierce. In 2022, the prices of flexible AMOLED mobile phone panels and rigid AMOLED mobile phone panels fell by 19.8% and 10.9% respectively. Samsung, the main panel manufacturer, shows that shipments and market share have declined significantly, especially in the Chinese market.
