According to reports, Zhongkeyu K2 adopts 28nm mature process, which can support the unloading of network, storage, virtualization and other functions. It is currently the first DPU chip with complete ASIC form in China, with the advantages of low cost, excellent performance and low power consumption.

In terms of performance, K2 has excellent delay performance, which can reach 1.2 microseconds ultra-low latency and support up to 200G network bandwidth. In application scenarios, it can be widely used in financial computing, high-performance computing, data center, cloud native, 5G edge computing and other scenarios, and is expected to become the fastest large-scale application of domestic DPU chips.

Zhongke Yuji said that the entire K2 project has been reviewed more than 60 times, the front end of the chip has completed the development of nearly 400,000 lines of code, and the application prototype adaptation of five scenarios such as cloud native, storage, financial computing and edge computing has been completed in the R & D phase; thousands of verification and test cases need to be completed in the functional simulation and testing phase.

CTOnews.com learned that in September this year, Zhongke Yuji announced that it had completed round B financing of hundreds of millions of yuan, which exceeded the scale of previous rounds of financing. In the past year, Zhongke Yu has completed three rounds of mass financing.

In the technical route, Zhongke Yuji previously put forward the technical route of "software definition accelerator", using independent research and development of agile heterogeneous KPU chip architecture to solve the problem of fragmentation of dedicated processor design. The technical architecture of heterogeneous cores has the advantages of software definition configurability, short design cycle, better performance and high computing efficiency.

Zhongke Yuji has developed a software development platform HADOS, which has high flexibility, strong stability and good compatibility, fully adapts to a variety of operating systems at home and abroad, and greatly reduces the difficulty of application software development.
