CTOnews.com December 21 news, Tianfeng Securities analyst Guo Mingyi said in a post today that Apple may cancel or postpone the iPhone SE 4 plan that is expected to be produced in 2024.

I think this is because mid-and low-end iPhone shipments have continued to be significantly lower than expected (e.g. SE 3, 13 mini, 14 Plus), and the shift to full screen design for SE 4 is bound to lead to higher costs / prices, so Apple may need to re-examine iPhone SE 4's product positioning and return on investment. In addition, reducing unnecessary new product development costs will also help the company cope with the challenges of the global recession in 2023.

CTOnews.com learned that the whistleblower Jon Prosser had previously said that Apple's iPhone SE 4 would use almost exactly the same design as the iPhone XR, along with related renderings.

At present, the latest generation of iPhone SE is the iPhone SE 3 launched by Apple at the spring product launch in the early hours of March 9, which is equipped with the same A15 bionic chip of the iPhone 13 series, supports 5G, and is the last iPhone to switch to 5G.
