CTOnews.com, Dec. 21 (Xinhua)-- "talented hacker" George Hotz, known as "Geohot" as a hacker, became the first person to unlock iPhone and break out of PS3. He announced on Twitter on Tuesday night that he had resigned from his Twitter internship.

CTOnews.com learned that Geohot had just resigned as chief executive of Comma AI, a self-driving start-up, in October and on November 16 expressed support for CEO Elon Musk's statement that the company needed a "very hard core" and then offered to join Twitter. "this is the attitude you should have to build incredible things and let all people who don't yearn for greatness leave," he said. " Musk replied, "Let's talk." Geohot will conduct a 12-week internship at Twitter in San Francisco.

Two days later, on November 18, Geohot said he had officially started working for Twitter.
