Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
On December 21, Beijing time, US police are investigating an incident. In this incident, a man believed to be a member of the Elon Musk security team crashed into a man's car. Musk later claimed that the man posed a threat to the safety of his family.
Musk's security team reported that the incident took place at around 9:51 local time on December 13 in the 700th neighborhood of Mission Street in Pasadena, California. Police only identified the victim as a 29-year-old man from Connecticut. He was the only one present when the police arrived at the scene.
The Connecticut man said he got off Highway 110 and stopped to make a phone call when another car "parked directly in front of him, blocking his way," police reported. The driver got out of the car and accused the Connecticut man of following him on the highway. Both men apparently filmed the standoff with their mobile phones.
Police reported that the driver then returned to his car and crashed into a Connecticut man's car when he left the parking spot. "during the incident, the victims did not recognize the suspect and did not indicate that the quarrel was a coincidence." The police said.
Two days after the incident, Pasadena police said they identified the suspect as a member of Musk's security team, who was not present during the conflict. They added: "efforts are being made to contact Mr. Musk and his security team to make a statement."
The day after the incident, on December 14, Musk tweeted that a car carrying his two-year-old son was "being followed by a crazy stalker." The stalker later stopped the car and climbed onto the hood. However, there was no mention of anyone climbing onto anyone's hood in the police report. Musk then posted a six-second video on Twitter showing a masked man sitting in a car and asking his fans, "does anyone know this guy or this car?"
Musk said his son was being followed earlier this week when foreign media interviewed a man who claimed to be the man in Musk's video. The man, Brandon Corrado (Brandon Collado), said he was the driver of Uber takeout and showed a video containing a member of Musk's security team. The video seems to match the video Musk shared from another angle. Corrado also made several strange claims about Musk's ex-girlfriend, artist Grimes. He believes Grimes sent him encrypted messages via Instagram.
Musk's alleged stalker later cited the Pasadena incident as evidence to support Twitter's decision to freeze multiple accounts, including tracking his private jet account @ elonjet and the accounts of six famous journalists who shared his real-time location on Twitter, endangering his family. However, Musk later unsealed these accounts.
