CTOnews.com learned that Tianbing Science and Technology said that the separation process of the fairing is only about one second, but it involves a variety of physical processes, such as timing, overload, strength, stiffness, collision, impact, movement, and so on, so this test is also an important large-scale ground test in the stage of engineering development.

According to reports, this separation test was carried out on the site and separation and recovery equipment built by Tianbing Science and Technology, and the cover body was recovered with lightweight civil materials, which greatly reduced the test cost. The success of the test verifies the correctness of the fairing separation scheme and the reliability of the product, which lays a solid foundation for the successful first flight of Tianlong II.
