CTOnews.com, December 20, according to Acer, Acer Predator has now launched its second PCIe 4.0 SSD product, GM7, which supports the latest NVMe 1.4 transport protocol and has sequential read speeds up to 7200MB/s.
According to reports, Acer Predator GM7 PCIe 4.0 SSD uses low-power and high-performance master control scheme and high-quality flash memory particles to build. The speed of master and flash IO interface is as high as 2400MT / s, which is much higher than that of previous generation master and flash memory, and the sequential read and write speed is as high as 7200MB/s and 6300MB/s, respectively. Acer Predator GM7 supports HMB acceleration and intelligent simulation of SLC caching, with random read and write speeds up to 900K and 700K IOPS, respectively.
In addition, Acer Predator GM7 uses a single-panel M.2 2280 design, which is widely used in desktop and laptop devices that support PCIe 4.0M.2 slots.
