CTOnews.com, December 20 (Xinhua)-- Stellantis has announced that it will increase production of its new M3 motor, which will be produced by its joint venture company Emotors at its manufacturing plant in Lorraine Tremel, France. CTOnews.com learned that Emotors is a joint venture between Nidec Leroy-Somer Holding and Stellantis.

According to the plan, Stellantis's motor production capacity will reach 1 million by 2024, which will boost the group's goal of selling only pure electric vehicles in Europe by 2030.

From January 2023, the M3 motor with a maximum power of 115kW and a peak torque of 260Nm will be installed on the new DS 3 E-TENSE, Peugeot Emai 208, Jeep Avenger and Opel Mokka. With new batteries, the new electric car will bring a range of more than 400 kilometers.

In addition, it will be installed on a new generation of Stellantis brand models.

According to reports, the Tr é mery plant, one of the largest diesel production plants in the world, has been working on energy transformation with the support of its social partners and local elected officials since 2018.
