Now foreign science and technology media Galaxy Club reconfirms the news from internal sources, that is, the forward resolution has dropped from 4000 megapixels of S22 Ultra to 1200 megapixels.

CTOnews.com learned that both the Galaxy S21 Ultra and the Galaxy S22 Ultra have 4000 megapixels on the front, while Samsung plans to downgrade to 1200 megapixels on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. This may be due to cost considerations, with news that the Galaxy S23 Ultra rear camera will be upgraded to 200 megapixels.

In addition, the report also pointed out that the front-facing cameras of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be slightly improved from the previous generation of 1000 megapixels, perhaps 1200 megapixels.

However, the reduction of resolution does not mean a decline in imaging quality, there are many factors to measure the effect of film, hardware is only one of them.
