Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com, December 20 (Xinhua)-- two former employees of Tesla said they were illegally fired by the company after participating in an organized campaign to publicly criticize Elon Musk, Bloomberg reported.

CTOnews.com learned that the two employees, both in California, had filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board. The dismissal may have violated federal laws that protect employees' opinions about working conditions.

The two employees said they helped draft two letters, one asking Tesla to reconsider his return to the office policy, and the other involving a tweet from Mr. Musk that they thought violated the company's anti-harassment policy. Drafts of the two letters were never sent to Tesla executives, Bloomberg reported.

The employees said they were fired because they discussed "Tesla's failure to implement his non-harassment policy and his policy of returning to the office after the epidemic," according to Bloomberg.

It is worth mentioning that some former employees of SpaceX claimed that they were illegally fired after Musk was accused of sexual harassment and wrote a letter calling on the company to strengthen its "zero tolerance policy". After the letter was sent in June 2022, nine employees were eventually fired, eight of whom filed charges with federal regulators.

Former employees of SpaceX complained to the National Labor Relations Board and hired a San Francisco law firm to represent them. Tesla's former employees also hired the same company. Tesla did not respond to requests for comment, and Tesla has not responded to requests for comment since the dissolution of his press relations department in 2019.
