CTOnews.com, December 20 (Xinhua)-- the French Commercial Court (The French Commercial Court) in Paris recently ruled that Apple abused its App Store power and fined Apple $1 million (about 6.98 million yuan), according to Reuters.

The court found that Apple imposed unfair App Store business terms on French app developers. The ruling is based on years of investigation by the French Consumer Affairs and Fraud Authority (DGCCRF), which is overseen by the French Ministry of Finance.

Bruno Lemerre, the French finance minister, has been defending the rights of developers, saying there is a "serious imbalance" between Apple and Google's app stores.
