CTOnews.com, December 19 (Xinhua)-- Samsung today launched two new cheap smartphones in India-- the Galaxy A04 and the Galaxy A04e. Both devices are designed in fashion and are aimed at young people.

The Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e feature a 6.5in PLS LCD display with Full HD + resolution and an Infinity-V drip screen. The two phones have dual rear cameras, but only the Galaxy A04 has a 5000-megapixel main camera. The Galaxy A04e uses a 1300-megapixel main camera. Both phones have 2-megapixel depth-of-field sensors to help capture portraits. On the front, the two new phones feature a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e camera systems can record up to 1080p 30fps video.

Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04e are equipped with MediaTek Helio P35 chip. There are three versions of Samsung Galaxy A04e. 3GB memory + 32GB storage, 3GB memory + 64GB storage, and 4GB memory + 128GB storage. The Galaxy A04 has 4GB memory and 64GB / 128GB internal storage. Both phones support microSD expandable storage space and are pre-installed to run Android 12.

But none of these phones support 5G networks. The Galaxy A04 has GPS,Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone Jack. The same connection option is available in addition to the Wi-Fi 5 Galaxy A04e, because the phone is limited to Wi-Fi b / g / n. Both devices are equipped with 5000mAh batteries that support 15W fast charging. CTOnews.com learned that the Samsung Galaxy A04 is available in black, copper and green. The 64GB version costs 11999 Indian rupees (about 1012 yuan), while the 128GB version costs 12999 Indian rupees (about 1096 yuan). The 32GB, 64GB and 128GB versions of Galaxy A04e sell for 9299 Indian rupees, 9999 Indian rupees and 11499 Indian rupees, respectively.
