CTOnews.com December 19 news, Jinan-Laiwu high-speed railway is expected to be officially opened on December 26, 2022! With the opening of the full line approaching, Chinese railway officials have given a detailed description of the five major stations of the high-speed rail.

CTOnews.com learned that the Jilai high-speed railway is located in Jinan, Shandong Province, with a total length of 117.49 kilometers and a designed speed of 350km per hour. Construction of the entire line will begin on September 18, 2019. There are six stations in Jinan East, Licheng, Zhangqiunan, Xueye, Laiwubei and Gangcheng, which are connected with Shiji high-speed railway and Jiqing high-speed railway through Jinan East Railway Station.

After the Jilai high-speed railway is completed and opened to traffic, it will take only 22.5 minutes from Jinan east to Gangcheng, which will further improve the structure of Shandong high-speed rail network and facilitate the travel of people along the line, which is of great significance to creating Shandong's "provincial capital economic circle on the track" and promoting regional coordinated development.

According to reports, the first stop of the high-speed train from Jinan East Railway Station is Licheng Station. The design theme of Licheng Station is "the rising sun rises in the east and the world is peaceful". The last stop is the Steel City Station, with the design theme of "clank Iron, Modern Steel City". Gangcheng District is an important iron and steel and energy base in Shandong Province, with the titles of "National New material industrialization Base", "Powder Metallurgy Capital" and "hometown of Chinese Peach". The site of the capital of Mou is located here. Mou is one of the oldest Fang kingdoms in China's history (the ancient United city-state system), which was founded before the Western Zhou Dynasty.
