In fact, Atom has always been an open source project. So, before its repository was archived, there was another community-led project to keep Atom's firepower burning for a while, providing fans with an alternative to Codespaces and Visual Studio Code.

This is also a branch worth considering by Atom fans-Pulsar. However, this branch is still in a very early stage, its core retains the familiar Atom user experience, and may not be ready to become a full-time code editor, but it can now be tested on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
