CTOnews.com, December 18, according to a CCTV report, China's self-developed regional jet with completely independent intellectual property rights, ARJ21, was officially delivered to Indonesia's first overseas customer, Indonesia Lingya Airlines, today. This is the first time that a Chinese jet has entered the overseas market, and is of great significance for the construction of "Belt and Road Initiative" and the construction of a new development pattern of "double cycle".

According to reports, the ARJ21-700aircraft delivered to Lingya Airlines has a 95-seat full economy class layout, and the interior decoration, passenger seats and external painting are customized by customers, among which the passenger seats are made of all-leather seat fabric.

CTOnews.com learned that Comac ARJ21 is a new type of turbofan regional aircraft, the scientific research code is ARJ21 (fully written as "Advanced Regional Jet", that is, a new generation of regional aircraft in the 21st century), developed by China Commercial aircraft Co., Ltd.

ARJ21 is designed in four different models, including basic, freight and official models. The airliner can seat 78-90 seats.

The ARJ21 aircraft is the first new turbofan regional plane independently developed in China with completely independent intellectual property rights. It was approved by the state in April 2002 and successfully made its maiden flight on June 28, 2016, achieving a breakthrough of zero domestic jetliners on China's routes.

ARJ21 aircraft is a short-and medium-range turbofan regional airliner with a range of 2225-3700 km, which is mainly used to meet the requirements of radiation routes from the central city to the surrounding small and medium-sized cities, with good high temperature performance, crosswind resistance and night flight operation, has been delivered and operated nearly 100, opened more than 300 routes, navigated more than 100 cities and safely transported more than 5.6 million passengers, the safety and reliability of the aircraft have been verified.
