CTOnews.com Dec. 17 Apple CEO Tim Cook's trip to Japan continues. After visiting Sony's research and development base in Kumamoto to thank it for more than a decade of collaboration on iPhone cameras, the next stop was Inoue, a 70-year-old family business in Fukui, Japan.

Cook tweeted: "It is a great honor to visit Inoue with the team, a family business located in Fukui City, Japan, for more than 70 years. They combine traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to create an amazing Apple Watch strap."

CTOnews.com learned that Cook was accompanied by Greg Joswiak, who wrote in his latest tweet using Apple translation: "I had a great week in Japan and met some students, developers and creators who use Apple products to do all kinds of wonderful things."

Retweeting Cook's tweet, Josviak said: "I am shocked to see that the Apple Watch Ultra strap I wear every day comes from such an impressive and innovative team! "
