CTOnews.com learned that EP9 sells for $1.2 million (about 8.364 million yuan). The first batch of six EP9 was given to six major investors in Lulai: Li Bin, founder and chairman of Xilai, Li Xiang, founder of che Hejia, Liu Qiangdong, CEO of JD.com Group, Lei Jun, CEO of Xiaomi Technology, Ma Huateng, CEO of Tencent, and Zhang Lei, founder of Hillhouse Capital.
