At the unprotected intersection where there is no special left turn traffic light, the vehicle carrying ANP3.0 also succeeds in the game with the opposite straight traffic flow, completing the unprotected left turn.

In the highway scenario, when vehicles carrying ANP3.0 are about to enter the ETC channel, they quickly and intelligently select the ETC channel and automatically pass through the narrow space of the ETC toll island. Baidu Apollo has become the first intelligent driving solution in the industry to automatically pass through ETC.

In addition, the vehicles equipped with ANP3.0 also show a series of functions such as high-speed efficiency lane change, tunnel passage, devil bend with large curvature (radius of curvature 130m) and so on.

In this multi-city extensive road test video, ANP3.0 shows excellent perception ability, which stems from its pure visual perception system Apollo Lite++, that is, Apollo features "BEV look around 3D perception" technology.

In the stage of R & D and testing, ANP3.0 has become the only intelligent driving scheme in China that can rely on pure vision to run through multiple scenes in urban areas, relying on "BEV look around 3D perception" technology. During the actual production phase in 2023, ANP3.0 will adopt the dual perception and true redundancy scheme of "pure vision + lidar" to further deal with complex urban scenes such as abnormal obstacles, night obstacles, dynamic / static occlusion ghost probes, and cross-layer parking in parking lots, and further improve the safety and stability of intelligent driving.

Baidu Apollo self-developed high-precision map can provide ANP3.0 with high-precision data elements necessary for ANP intelligent driving, seamlessly connecting the algorithm characteristics and requirements of ANP intelligent driving system. At present, the high-speed and high-precision map developed by Apollo has accumulated nearly 400000 kilometers, and is the first to obtain the qualification of the first batch of mass-produced high-precision map examination numbers in Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

In the creation of smart driving experience, Baidu Apollo is based on the concept of "driving cloud as one", combined with the accumulation of AI, cloud computing and self-driving, tailored data closed-loop tool chain for ANP3.0 intelligent driving system to realize the continuous evolution of intelligent driving capability.
