In terms of electronic paper machine products, the global shipment of electronic labels reached 180 million pieces in the first three quarters, an increase of 28.6% over the same period last year; nearly 8 million electronic paper tablets were shipped worldwide, of which 636000 were shipped through all channels in the Chinese market, and the online retail volume reached 538000.

In the third quarter, the electronic paper module reached the highest single-quarter shipment in two years.

The application terminals of electronic paper products are mainly divided into two categories: B-end and C-end, focusing on the low-power couplet and paper-like market.

The application scenarios with the largest shipments and the highest proportion come from electronic shelf labels, which are mainly used in eight fields, such as smart retail, smart education, smart medical care, smart office, smart transportation, smart logistics, smart civil aviation, smart industry and so on. In the first three quarters of 2022, the global e-paper flat market shipped nearly 8 million units, of which 636000 were shipped through all channels in China, accounting for 8 per cent of the global market.

The fourth quarter is expected to usher in the annual shipping peak driven by the two major promotion seasons of Singles' Day and Yuanchun.

In terms of sales amount, in the first three quarters of 2022, the online sales of electronic paper boards reached 1.09 billion yuan, of which 400 million yuan was sold in the third quarter, which is basically the same as that in the second quarter on the premise of a decline in sales. It shows that the average unit price has rebounded considerably.

In terms of sales, smart office books reached 710 million yuan in the first three quarters, accounting for 65% of the total, while readers accounted for 360 million yuan, accounting for 33% of the total. The share of smart office books is much higher than that of readers, indicating that the advantage of market customer unit price is quite obvious. The category structure of online sales of electronic paper in China in 2022, in terms of the development of the existing market, although the sales volume of China's e-paper flat market accounts for less than 10% of the world as a whole, the Chinese market is currently the most dynamic sales area.
