CTOnews.com, December 16, according to the website of China Shipbuilding Group Co., Ltd., on December 15, the second 174000 cubic meter large liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier "Wudang" built by China Shipbuilding Group's Hudong China Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd. and China Shipbuilding Industry Trading Co., Ltd. for COSCO CNPC State LNG transport project was named and delivered 47 days ahead of schedule in China Shipbuilding Changxing Shipbuilding Base.

CTOnews.com learned that this is the sister ship of the Shaolin, the project's first ship delivered on October 25. Earlier this month, the Shaolin was carrying an entire ship of LNG from the port of Karlhart in Oman and returned to PetroChina's Jiangsu LNG receiving station.

China Shipbuilding Group said that the Wudang is the world's mainstream large LNG carrier, independently developed and designed by East China, with a total length of 295m, a width of 45m, a depth of 26.25m and a speed of 19.5km. it is classified as Lloyd's Classification Society (LR) and China Classification Society (CCS).

According to reports, according to the characteristics of the ship's operation route, Hudong Zhonghua has specially optimized the ship form design, with the bright spots of low evaporation rate, low energy consumption, high reliability, high environmental protection, strong versatility, good foresight, and excellent economy, and all the performances have reached the international advanced level.
