CTOnews.com, December 16 (Xinhua)-- Microsoft has fixed game performance problems in Win11 through cumulative KB5020044 updates. In today's update, Windows Health Dashboard announced the official lifting of upgrade restrictions on affected Win11 devices.

CTOnews.com learned that it wrote in the Windows Health Dashboard update: "this issue has been resolved in KB5020044 and protection has been removed since December 14, 2022. Please note that if your device has no other upgrade restrictions, you will receive Windows 11 Version 22H2 updates within the next 48 hours."

Foreign technology media NeoWin readers reported that after installing the KB5020044 update, the BUG encountered in running "Battlefield Fengyun 2042" (Battlefield 2042) has been basically repaired.

Game performance problems first appeared in Nvidia users, and then AMD Ryzen 7000 series graphics card users reported similar problems. Microsoft admitted last month that there was a performance problem with the game and then released safeguard ID 41990091 to prevent some users from upgrading to the new version.
