According to the official of Tuyuan SAIC Group, SAIC Hengdao Robotaxi 2.0 intelligent driving system has been comprehensively upgraded and iterated, equipped with the latest generation of multi-sensor deep fusion scheme for production vehicles, with high perceptual accuracy and visual breadth, excellent long-tail scene coping ability, and higher integration between the perceptual system and the vehicle, further reducing the cost. In terms of hardware, SAIC Hengdao Robotaxi 2.0 fully uses mass-produced vehicle sensors and solid-state lidar, which complement each other in visual perception, form redundancy and eliminate blind areas, and ensure the stable and accurate output of perception results. In terms of software, the perception, positioning, regulation and control of the vehicle side have been optimized, and the ability of the vehicle to deal with emergencies has been significantly improved by using high-performance perceptual fusion algorithm; at the same time, it is equipped with a remote driving control system to make full preparations for the next step in the establishment of an "unmanned fleet".
