When talking about the view of the trend of panel prices, BOE said that since the second half of 2021, panel prices have been structurally adjusted, and the prices of TV and IT LCD products have fallen to varying degrees. From the beginning of 2022 to the end of the third quarter, affected by the superposition of many factors, the demand of end customers is greatly affected, and the panel price is under pressure. Affected by the overall reduction of the farming rate in the industry, the relationship between supply and demand, especially the oversupply of LCD TV, has been greatly alleviated. On the demand side, in the short and medium term, with the impact of large-scale sports events superimposed by the end-of-year promotion season, terminal inventory is gradually removed, and panel demand is expected to recover structurally. In the long run, the growth of panel demand will be driven by factors such as the continuation of large-scale products, the improvement of new technology penetration, and the expansion of application scenarios. At the same time, as the influence of uncertain factors is gradually digested, the pattern of industrial development will gradually return to rationality, and product prices will fluctuate within a reasonable range mainly affected by the off-peak season.

In terms of flexible OLED business, BOE pointed out that the penetration of flexible OLED in the smartphone field continues to increase, and the overall growth is good, and the company's flexible OLED products have basically completed the introduction of customers of global mainstream brands, and in the future it will mainly focus on realizing more product line coverage on clients and continuously increasing the client share of the company's products, while at the same time continuing to promote the application of flexible OLED in IT, vehicle and other new fields.

CTOnews.com learned that BOE data show that the company's flexible OLED shipments continued to grow in the first three quarters of 2022, with nearly 50 million pieces shipped and 1800 million pieces shipped in the third quarter. Since the fourth quarter of 2021, the price competition of entry-level products has intensified continuously, the prices of some products have continued to decline, the prices of some flexible OLED module products have fallen sharply, and the company's flexible OLED production line has been under short-term depreciation pressure, which has affected its operating performance to a certain extent. The company's flexible OLED is expected to ship 80 million pieces in 2022, which will continue to grow from last year.
