Combined with the leading 8-speed M Steptronic hand self-integrated gearbox and M xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system, it takes only 4.3 seconds to break a hundred from zero to speed. At the same time, drivers can choose a variety of driving modes according to their needs.

CTOnews.com learned that the M hybrid drive system equipped with BMW XM also uses the fifth generation BMW eDrive electric drive technology, equipped with permanent magnet synchronous motors and ternary lithium battery packs. Under the WLTC standard, the mileage of pure electricity can reach 78 kilometers.

In addition, the BMW XM is the first BMW M model equipped with an overall active steering system, which enables the new car to achieve four-wheel steering, combined with the adaptive M motion suspension Pro with a 48V active roll stabilization system, allows the vehicle to quickly and accurately adjust the body during roll, and assists the driver to achieve a smaller turning radius and more precise steering while driving.

On the digital side, BMW XM is powered by BMW iDrive, the eighth-generation operating system, and BMW's latest integrated floating curved screen with a 14.9-inch central touch display and a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, while the new car is equipped with an electric car sound simulation created by BMW Group and Hollywood's top composer Hans Zimmer.
