CTOnews.com, December 15 (Xinhua)-- Apple's Apple TV+ has announced that the original drama "Dear Edward" will begin broadcasting on February 3 next year. The play has 10 episodes and is based on a novel of the same name released by American writer Ann Napolitano in 2020.

It tells the story of a 12-year-old boy who was the only survivor of a plane crash that killed 191 other passengers, including the family of the protagonist. Dear Dear Edward was published by The Dial Press on January 6, 2020.

CTOnews.com learned that Edward Adler, the protagonist of the original play "Dear Edward," is played by Colin O'Brien (Colin O'Brien), along with Emmy nominees Connie Britton and Taylor Schilling.

The play is directed by Fisher Stevens (Fisher Stevens) and written, produced and executed by Jason Katims. The author Napolitano is also an executive producer with director Stevens, with David Boyd (David Boyd) as production director.
